Medical & Water Safety Ltd is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all areas of our business operations and supply chains. We recognise our responsibility to uphold human rights and act ethically and with integrity in all business dealings.

We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and are committed to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking are not taking place anywhere within our organisation or supply chain.

This policy is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Medical & Water Safety Ltd’s modern slavery and human trafficking statement.

2. Our Business

Medical & Water Safety Ltd provides medical safety and water safety services, including training, consultancy, compliance support, and associated safety solutions. We operate primarily within the United Kingdom and work with clients across healthcare, water safety, facilities management, and related sectors.

3. Our Supply Chains

Our supply chains include, but are not limited to:

• Training materials and equipment suppliers
• Water safety and testing equipment providers
• IT and software service providers
• Professional service providers
• Office and operational support services

While we consider the risk of modern slavery within our direct operations to be low, we recognise that risks may exist within extended supply chains and remain vigilant.

4. Our Commitment

Medical & Water Safety Ltd is committed to:

5. Due Diligence and Risk Management

• To identify and mitigate risks, we:
• Assess potential risk areas within our supply chains
• Conduct appropriate due diligence on new suppliers
• Require suppliers to confirm compliance with applicable laws relating to modern slavery and human rights
• Reserve the right to terminate relationships with suppliers found to be in breach of this policy

Where appropriate, supplier agreements may include specific provisions addressing modern slavery compliance.

6. Employment Practices

Medical & Water Safety Ltd is committed to fair employment practices, including:

• Verifying the right to work of all employees
• Ensuring fair pay in line with applicable wage legislation
• Providing clear terms and conditions of employment
• Maintaining safe and respectful working conditions
• Encouraging open communication and reporting of concerns

We do not tolerate forced labour, bonded labour, child labour, or exploitation of any kind within our workforce.

7. Reporting Concerns

Employees, contractors, suppliers, and other business partners are encouraged to report any concerns related to modern slavery or human trafficking in our operations or supply chains.

8. Training and Awareness

• The appropriate steps to report concerns

9. Responsibility and Review

The Director(s) of Medical & Water Safety Ltd have overall responsibility for ensuring this policy complies with legal and ethical obligations.

This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect changes in legislation, business operations, or identified risks.
